Snapshot of a Memory

This accordion-style artpiece captures the watery effect of remembering. This scene captures my mother dancing in the school plaza when my family still lived in Ecuador.

This began as an experiment to see if I wanted to try a stop-motion paper animation or perhaps shadow puppet theater. It quickly became a piece I wanted to hold and possibly share with my family, so by virtue of that, it became portable and stable - and this!
