Concept art for “Un Poco Mas de Sal”. An animated short that follows a woman’s personal history through the process of cooking a family meal. This is a personal story because it touches on my grandmother's history in Ecuador, her cancer diagnosis, moving to a new country as a single mother of four, and how she still carries her history with her through her recipes.

It's an urgent piece meant to explore my family and cultural heritage. With the loss of my uncle this year, I'm looser about the art that I create - I want feeling to dictate what type of art I make. My curiosity and grief have been big motivators for this project.
